SDG 1: no poverty

In 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations as the new global sustainable development agenda for 2030. Our projects contribute to some of these SDG’s , such as SDG 1: No poverty.

Poverty still exists to this day. That is why the United Nations has set the goal of eradicating poverty in all forms around the world. According to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), there are 1.2 billion people worldwide who live on less than €1,14. Most of these are in developing countries. That is why it is important that action is taken against poverty.

That is why it is important that action is taken against poverty. FairClimateFund climate projects help combat poverty in the relevant countries. Various projects contribute to the local economy. Trainings are offered to the local population so that they can contribute to the development of a new sustainable ecosystem. This creates green jobs and creates new opportunities for the local population.
